We thoroughly enjoyed the week on Mull with our two Westies. The scenery was outstanding and different around every bend. Seeing wildlife such as otters, eagles, seals and red deer at close quarters is always a delight.
The cottage location was superb; it was rural, quiet and with a lovely view across the water to the mainland. We woke up most mornings to the sound of our neighbours namely the sheep and their lambs and some days found them in the garden. Brilliant. The cottage was quaint and old as expected but fully met our needs. It is however in need of some tender loving care but this did not distract from the enjoyment of our holiday.

Mull is wonderful. The location of the cottage is fabulous. Managed to have one clear night and the sky was fitted with stars - perfect for me!!!

Central location and nearby amenities here yet the position of this cottage on the hillside still makes it feel remote. A great 'get away from it all' week. Except for a lack of wood, just what we asked for. Mull to a tee.

History of Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage was built in 1914 to provide accommodation for the estate’s gardener and gamekeeper.

The local sheep are very friendly here and may even try to shelter from the rain under the porch!

The cottage is close to the local burn which makes it a delightful waterside setting
