"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blacksmith's cottage this year which proved an excellent base to explore the island. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed with the log burner making it especially cosy in the autumn. There are lovely views across the countryside from the rural location but only a 10 minute walk down the hill into Tobermory. The cottage is deal for couples or small families.'
Lovely house. Kitchen great, easy to cook in and has great views. Very comfortable. Love the Isle of Mull, it is our second time back and we will return again. Saw sea eagles again, deer from a distance and a golden eagle. Ate at the Café Fish again which was delicious as always. Tobermory Chocolate is amazing. Had lots of sunshine and would highly recommend this house and this island"

"Fabulous week in spite of weather. It only rained twice – once for 4 days and then for 3 days. Wonderful walks on 4 islands (Mull, Iona, Staffa and Ulva) lazy late afternoon in bed after. Very peaceful holiday but missed out on bagging first Munroe."

“Fantastic cottage, wonderful holiday.  We’ll be back.Blacksmith’s Cottage exceeded our expectations and was a home from home of us and our three children. It was clean, warm, and kitted out with high quality furnishings and equipment. The five of us said we would happily move in permanently and the children settled in within minutes of our arrival. The cottage is ideally positioned just on the outskirts of Tobermory, no more than a ten minute walk into town. Our 11 year old son loved the cottage and the location. Our 19 month old loved sitting in her high chair having breakfast looking out of the window at the “horsey” in the field behind the cottage. At the end of very active days we felt like we were coming home. A wonderful holiday!”

"A splendid week with incredible weather! Wonderful, wonderful sunshine. It’s a great location – perfect for nipping down to Tobermory and as a base to explore further a field. Must do’s – Whale Watch Trip, no we didn’t see one but a magical day at sea none the less!

Loch Frisa, ‘Secret White Beaches’ they are well hidden but worth the effort. Ardmore for woodland walks and wildlife spotting, The Fish and Chip van on the pier, top notch food at Café Fish, stock up on brilliant seafood from Tobermory Fish Co (next to the cottage grounds) Brilliant!
