recently filmed by Time Team .............................
Island
Holiday Cottage's Hylda Marsh and friend Bev Langhorn
made a remarkable discovery through their work with
'Scotland's Rural Past' leading to a visit in May from
Channel 4's Time Team.
Scotland's
Rural Past is a volunteer led survey by the Royal
Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of
Scotland (RCAHMS).
What they
found turned out to be one of the most important finds
ever featured on the programme, which has been running
for 17 years.
We can't disclose what was found - you'll
have to watch the programme which is due for broadcast
in April 2010.
