The cottage is decorated tastefully with high quality oak furniture and luxury furnishings and comfortable leather settees. The lounge has patio doors opening onto the natural slate patio with outdoor seating and barbeque area. This room has a log burning stove for those cosy nights, the property has full central heating throughout The spacious hallway, downstairs bathroom,  and kitchen have random natural slate floors, the lounge and dining room have  solid oak floors The bathroom on the ground floor has the luxury of both a bath and walk in  power shower and under floor heating. The beautiful solid oak staircase leads to the upper floor and 2 ensuite bedrooms. The dining room has an oak table, sideboard and six high backed leather chairs. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with  oven and hob, integral dishwasher,  fridge freezer, washing machine with dryer  other appliances include  a health grill, microwave, slow cooker, electric whisk, cafetierre  etc Crockery and cups are Denbyware Gamekeeper's Cottage has broadband internet access and sky tv, dvd and hifi system One of the outstanding features in this property is the antler chandelier illuminating the stairway and landing.     The double room  above has an ensuite shower room, the hardwood bed is king-size  and has a  high quality sprung mattress, feather duvet* and co-ordinated linen and throws. The furniture is oak and includes double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets a full length mirror and dressing table mirror This room has one large picture window and 4 smaller windows giving views to the sea, over Baliscate and the fields, farmland  and hills. The colour television is also a DVD player. * synthetic duvets can be provided if you are allergic to feathers The twin bedded room below has an ensuite shower room, the hardwood beds have high quality sprung mattresses, feather duvets* and co-ordinated linen and throws. The furniture is oak and includes double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets a full length mirror and dressing table mirror This room has a window overlooking the fields, farmland and hills also a smaller window looking over Tobermory to  the sea. The colour television is also a DVD player. Both rooms has ensuite shower rooms with power showers and heated towel rails. Both bedrooms are extremely spacious and look out over the fields where the horses graze and catch the sunsets from the west, looking right you can see Tobermory, and Ben Hiant in the distance and catch a glimpse of the sea. 		Property Description Gamekeeper's cottage looks across Tobermory towards Ben Hiant on Ardnamurchan.  It has been built to a very high standard and is a semi detached property but keeps its individual privacy. 		Views from property                               Gamekeeper's  Guest  reviews      The patio area provides an attractive sheltered area for a barbeque or a glass of wine in the evening.   The lovely sunsets below as the sun sinks in the west Each cottage has parking for 2 cars and to walk to the seafront, shops and restaurants takes 10 minutes or 2 minutes in your car. Regular sightings of red deer, hares, slow worm, rabbits, buzzards, sparrow hawk and sea eagle are common     Two of the rarer visitors to our garden a leucistic blackbird and a woodpecker     We have an abundance of blackbirds, robins, chaffinches, greenfinches, blue tits, great tits, tree creepers, starlings,             " We've had a wonderful few days thanks for making us so comfortable in your lovely cottage, we shall certainly recommend you to friends and hopefully return one day "     "We've had a lovely week in Mull, and a comfortable stay at Gamekeeper's. "       Baliscate Chapel       The standing stones behind Baliscate House and Gamekeepers Cottage a 5 minute walk up the lane  and further up the lane another  15 minutes walk to the Baliscate Chapel Site recently filmed by Time Team ............................. Island Holiday Cottage's Hylda Marsh and friend Bev Langhorn made a remarkable discovery through their work with 'Scotland's Rural Past' leading to a visit in May from Channel 4's Time Team.   Scotland's Rural Past is a volunteer led survey by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS).   What they found turned out to be one of the most important finds ever featured on the programme, which has been running for 17 years.   To see what was found and to see the latest progress with the site please go to www.baliscate.co.uk
