The fisherman Cottage First of all captivates by its location: in the middle of Tobermory and yet very quiet. The cottage is lovingly furnished and in the living room (upper floor) There is an immediate feel-good effect. From Tobermory you can make great hikes-directly on site to the lighthouse and to Ardmore Point and then to the Treshnish point (!) some added by car or bus. Great beaches: Calgary Beach or the Ross of Mull of Kilvickeon Beach.... and of course the beach on Iona... The tour of Duart Castle is worthwhile (very interesting exhibition). ... and if there is still time, then perhaps still remains to the Laggan sand (Castle Moy).

Fishermans Cottage is a great place to stay in Tobermory.. Located off the front behind the shops at the end of a side street. Don't be put off by the location. Although not the most picturesque it is perfectly located for access to Tobermory harbour and completely quiet in the evenings. The cottage is very well equipped and contains everything you might need during your stay. The only point worth mentioning is although there is parking outside the property I would recommend parking the car on the front in 1 of the parking bays. Access can be difficult at times, such as when the Co op supermarket has a delivery and you may be unable to drive out for some time. (Which can be inconvenient if you have a ferry to catch for example). But other than that it's a little gem and I'm sure we will be returning in the future.
