Morvern cottage is a traditional stone cottage built 180 years ago. It is centrally situated just minutes away from the main street yet in a quiet part of the town. The broad road to the front of the cottage has ample parking and there is an old lane at the rear which will take you down to the main street in a few minutes.

The accommodation consists of three good size bedrooms, living room/dining room, shower room, bathroom and conservatory

The dining room is an extension which was added twenty years ago and looks out onto the garden with the hills beyond. The table is large enough to seat six comfortably and is perfect for a pleasant dinner party.

The living room is the original cottage parlour and the floor has been lovingly restored however although retaining its old fashioned character the cottage has all the modern gadgets required for your comfort. There is a 26in TV/DVD/ Video and C.D. player.

The well equipped kitchen is adjacent and has a dishwasher (for all those dinner parties), a six burner gas hob, electric eye level oven and grill, microwave, toaster,  fridge freezer (to keep all the fish you will catch during your holiday) and an all important washing machine. All housekeeping items are in the cottage, iron/ironing board, vacuum cleaner, mops and buckets etc.

The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and a king-size bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. There are two windows; one has a fabulous view of Morvern and the sound of Mull.

 The other upstairs bedroom is furnished with two single beds and a built in wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Downstairs the double bedroom also boasts a king size bed. The built in wardrobe used to be the kitchen in olden days and still has the old tap to prove it.

 Each of the bedrooms is furnished to a high standard and is decorated simply and stylishly with comfort in mind. Each has its own heater and there is a hair dryer for your use.

The conservatory links the kitchen to the garden and is the perfect place for breakfast as it catches the first rays of the morning sun.   The established garden is south facing and a real sun trap with a little herb garden for culinary buffs. There is a patio complete with barbeque and table and chairs for alfresco dining.

Morvern Cottage is full of charm and is an ideal base for your holiday because of its central location and luxurious surroundings. We do not allow any pets. 

Tariff: £395  - £495 per week, price includes bed linen and towels and the first £20 of electricity
