Downstairs, there is a large comfortable sitting room with open fire and two night storage heaters. Logs and coal are provided. The living room has a peaceful atmosphere. There is no T.V. reception.

The well-equipped kitchen with views across the loch includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washer/ tumble dryer. All electricity is included in the rental.

In addition, downstairs, there is a double bedroom, a bathroom and a toilet. 

Upstairs are two twin bedded rooms again with wonderful views across the loch. One double and four single duvets are supplied. Please bring your own bed linen, towels and tea towels.

The cottage is light and bright. It has fitted carpets throughout. It has the peace and seclusion that only a Highland cottage can offer. Known locally for its cosy welcoming atmosphere, it is a place to which visitors return year after year.

Entrance to ‘Na Fuarain’ is through a sun porch with dining area. The view from the porch is down to the shore and over the sea to Ulva and the Treshnish Islands.

Property Description

‘Na Fuarain’ is a traditional Highland crofting cottage with byre attached. Set in its own unfenced 1 1/2 acres, grazed by sheep, it is located 100m from the shore of Loch Tuath and looks south to Ulva and west to the Treshnish Islands.

 

The cottage is non- smoking for the benefit of all our guests.

We regret that we cannot accommodate any pets in the cottage

Loch Tuath is an area known for its wildlife including red deer, seals, otters, buzzards and sea eagles. With access to Staffa, the Treshnish Islands and the Isle of Ulva from the nearby Ulva Ferry, the cottage is in a spectacular area of unspoiled natural beauty.
