The entrance hall is spacious and can also be used as a morning room. It is south facing with recessed windows overlooking garden. It has a beamed ceiling and terracotta style stone floor. All other rooms are accessed from this hallway.
The lounge and dining room are split-level with a central open fire and solid birch hardwood floor. There are two steps down into the lounge supported by a handrail. The lounge is fully equipped with a television, DVD player and CD player. The dining room has a double bed settee which can accommodate additional guests. The lounge area has beautiful views out over the garden and the Sound of Mull.
The kitchen is fully fitted with hand built wall and floor units and a small breakfast bar. It is fully equipped and has a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and condenser dryer. It also has a drying cupboard.
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. The en-suite has a toilet, hand basin and bath with a shower.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, a single bed, wardrobes and dressing table. The en-suite has a toilet, hand basin and shower cubicle.

Property Description Situated on a quiet lane on the outskirts of the village of Salen, the cottage is in a slightly elevated position providing extensive, uninterrupted views across its own "lochan" and the Sound of Mull to the Morvern Hills beyond. Letting is from Saturday to Saturday. Guests are welcome to arrive from 3pm on the first day of the let and should vacate the cottage by 10am on the day of departure. Salen is a small village, centrally located on the island, with a general store, small supermarket, post office, laundrette, church, hotel, Italian restaurant, garage, petrol station, doctor's surgery and a cottage hospital. There are regular bus services to Tobermory and the Craignure ferry. The area is abundant with wildlife; deer, sea-eagles, buzzards, hen harriers and many other birds are seen regularly around the cottage. The cottage has private off-road parking for up to four vehicles. A well behaved pet allowed. Due to the ponds Seaview is not really suitable for very small children and the owners advise that any children are supervised at all times. |
