Stayed here for 7 days on 18th June. The cabin is lovely, the location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful, looking out over the small cove & sea. A small access path takes you down to the cove, we left our canoe there safely to use. The cabin has everything you need, washing machine was a bonus, didn't bring any washing home:) lovely bed linen, good shower, plenty hot water, books, satellite TV, (you supply own towels). The goats, Guiness & Billy are hilarious, they pop up frequently, loving a good scratch and the chickens and sheep are great neighbours, they just wander around happily. The owners are lovely, only to knock & ask if we needed anything. We spent most of our time outdoors so we're happy with everything we had. Beaches, some wee shop's, pub, ferry to Iona, local produce, arts and crafts are all close by. It's a perfect holiday location & accommodation, we are so happy we found it.

Ardchiavaig cabin is situated in a rural location 100 metres above the port of Uisken which hosts one of the finest beaches on the island. Uisken offers stunning views of the islands of Colonsay, Islay and Jura. It is an ideal base for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts . Local amenities can be found in the villages of Bunessan and Fionnphort which are 3 and 7 miles respectively. Fionnphort is also the embarking point for the Islands of Iona and Staffa.
