What a superb house, really comfortable and equipped with everything you need.  A very relaxing week, lots of birds and wildlife.  Enjoyed exploring the local area.  Very relaxing

25th May 2019    McArthur’s

We’ve has a wonderful week here. The house is well equipped and very comfortable and is an ideal situation for nature lovers. The local walks are worth doing and a visit to Staffa and Iona is also an interesting part of the holiday. We have been able to relax and take time out from all the difficulties surrounding us whilst in this beautiful place.

22nd September 2018    Marriott’s

Lovely well equipped and very nicely furnished cottage.  We have enjoyed walking in the local area and relaxing round the fire. We had a lovely meal at The Keel Row. Thank you for a perfect holiday

8th September 2018    Allder

Fabulous house, good facilities & well equipped. The deer visited us every night. Saw hen harriers and a sea eagle just before we left, perfect!

1st September 2018    Christopher Grefan

Creich truly was an exceptional cottage! I would say that over the years we have stayed in 20-30 different cottages across the UK and while we found many gems that we visited a second time, Creich was the cleanest, best equipped and stocked: I cannot recall arriving at a cottage and finding enough of everything from toilet paper/kitchen roll to soap at all bath tubs. Also, sometimes you arrive at a cottage and while it appears clean, you find little things (that don't really bother, but are noticed) - but not so in Creich. It was stirling! And, after one week we were provided with new linen and towels - also a first for us! In total. A perfect place! We hope to come again one day!

11th August 2018    Horsburgh’s

Thank you for a well equipped and lovely clean house. First time staying on Mull and we’ve had a great time. Loved the wildlife and the daily visits from the neighbour’s dogs. A week wasn’t long enough to see everything!

15th July 2018    Smit’s

A wonderful experience in the Scottish outback. Never imagined that Scots weather could be so nice, the islands so attractive, the birds (at least the puffins) so companionable. And a very hospitable house! First time visit with family who have visited this place already several times and we came to understand their love for this special place.

7th July 2018    Gerlach’s

We really enjoyed staying in your very well equipped cottage. The views out of the many windows are stunning – especially as there is so much wildlife around to watch! We were very lucky with the weather so flat there was the chance to relax at many of the nearby beaches. We also went on some great hikes in the area, for example to Traigh Geal that was very remote and peaceful!

15th June 2018    McClintock’s

A very special, magical and spiritual trip to Fingal’s Cave. Fabulous weather (not often you can get a tan in Scotland) and great theatrical skies, even if it did rain. Awesome cottage and amusing guests to watch at the garden fence – sheep and their lambs, the red deer, rabbits and many different wee birds.  Spotted a hen harrier, a linnet and numerous geese. Beautiful scenery and beaches – our trip to Mull has been very laid back and relaxing, so thank you for this experience.

2nd June 2018    Pickard’s

Thank you very much it’s a really nice house and me, Sandy, Ben and bunny enjoyed it tremendously, except the muck spreading was bleugh! Yucky cos we had some washing out and it stunk! – We all agree – it was a good & memorable week – the house is comfortable and the herd of deer delightful.

14th April 2018    Aitken’s

Had a great time!

6th April 2018    Lennie’s

Our second time here and just as enjoyable as our first. Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting.  Have enjoyed daily visits from the sheep & the deer.

31st October 2017    Kendal’s

Wonderful Mull & warm & cosy Creich Cottage. Thank you for the marvellous weather. An unforgettable mountain adventure climbing Ben More in Autumn sunshine, rescued from Iona by the Staffa tour boat when the ferry broke down and many lovely beach walks. Can’t wait to come back for more to Creich Cottage. A lovely cottage with everything you could want for, even really sharp knives.  Very clean. We had a wonderful time in the cottage. Thank You.

14th October 2017    Keys’s

We’ve had a wonderful, peaceful week at Creich Cottage – the weather has been wet but we’ve still managed plenty of walks and loved returning to the cosy, welcoming cottage each night. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing hares, buzzards, hen harriers and many, many red deer in the surrounding fields – we couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely be back. Thank you

30th September 2017    White’s

This is our first visit to Mull and we have enjoyed every bit of it! Creich Cottage has been perfect for us. Lovely open views, close to the sea, good for walking and good for just staring and watching for deer. No close encounters, but lots of sightings out on the hills. The cottage is in a perfect location to just pull on your walking boots and head out – which is just what we wanted, and just what we needed. Thank You!

16th September 2017    Bridle’s

Thank you for a really lovely holiday – love the situation & the excellent facilities also the peace & quiet. The photos on the site do not do this property justice!!  Weather variable but has not stopped us getting our & about. The views have been wonderful all week any rain showers fleeting and few.  Quite windy – Iona ferry cancelled some days!  One of our loveliest trips to Mull yet!!
The “Creel” Seafood bar at the pier – fabulous crab sandwiches & seafood platter!

26th August 2017    Tazewell’s

A great place to stay for a peaceful holiday. So quiet, a beautiful location. Thank you for letting us stay in your cottage.

12th August 2017    Lambert’s

Thank you so much for letting us stay at this cottage, it has been an amazing, fabulous holiday!  A beautiful location and quite good weather. I really enjoyed going on the wonderful walks! The cottage was lovely and we had excellent sleeps every night. I would love to come back one day. Love the wildlife and the animals especially the dogs. We found the cottage to be extremely well equipped and comfortable. The folder of info is very useful.

29th July 2017    Mason’s

A wonderful week, 3 glorious days on the beaches, a warm clean, well equipped cottage. Tobermory, Iona, Bunessan, Fionnphort, Crofters Kitchen, The Scarecrow Trail (completed), deer coming to next field in the evenings, hares, rabbits, hen harriers, footballing dogs and serene, peaceful, time outs.  Thank you – it was all we wanted it to be.

7th July 2017    Greenwood’s

Another lovely stay! We loved seeing hen harriers, hares and deer around the cottage. Beautiful drive to Tobermory and back with spectacular sunset views along the coast. Would recommend the aquarium touch pool. Lovely beaches at North Iona. We also loved the Staffa Tours boat trip to Staffa and Lunga – it was amazing to see seals, dolphins, puffins and Fingals Cave! Love the cosy cottage – thanks for a lovely holiday. Splendid. Lovely cottage as ever – beautifully clean & tidy.

1st July 2017    Niven’s

The cottage was much more than we expected – the online pictures do not do it justice. It was absolutely perfect, clean & well equipped. We did not need to buy much ourselves which was handy because we wanted to enjoy our cooking & food & not worry about essentials. It is very spacious, excellent shower. Plenty of good quality crockery, cutlery, wood stove was ACE. Lovely garden.  Bigger TV Screen would have been more enjoyable and a clock for the time. Wifi or a telephone line would have put our mind at ease in case of emergency, otherwise all was just right.  Thank You.

24th June 2017    Clement’s

Had a great stay in Creich Cottage. Mixed weather but didn’t stop us getting out and about. Lots of wildlife including a corncrake and chick on Iona. Would love to come back.

10th June 2017    De La Haye’s

Had a lovely stay in Creich cottage, very well equipped, beautiful location. Enjoyed all the wildlife, trips to Iona, visiting the Croft Kitchen just over the hill, fishing at Kintra, adventure to Kilvickeon, basket making at Mull Willow, friendly welcome at Mull Baptist Church. A lovely holiday in a beautiful place.

3rd June 2017    Hall’s

A really perfect holiday home with so much freedom for the children, as others before us we thoroughtly enjoyed the wild life, Duart Castle, Iona & different beaches every day. The children loved the ruined cottages & the friendly dogs, they love to come back again.

27th May 2017    Howell’s

Thanks Donna for a fabulous stay in “Creich” Cottage. Everything and more we could have wished for. Fantastic location, with views from all windows. The varied wildlife her is perfect for keen photographers like us. We saw a great variety – deer, hare, rabbits, hen harriers and more. Weather was mixed but it didn’t deter from our enjoyment of the Isle. Visit to Iona, amongst many other places, The Glass Barn, Tobermory, Duart Castle, Croggan, Mull Eagle Watch. We will definitely book and revisit again. Thank you

29th August 2016    Stables’s

We were really pleased to arrive at this lovely cottage, the photos do not do it justice. It had absolutely everything we needed, it felt like a home from home and surrounded by nature from the resident buzzards, to the red deer, various different birds including house martins and hooded crows. There are four lovely collie dogs that live at the top of the hill, Tara will go for the wheels of your car so beware, but Jess, Finn & Sparky are lovely. Whilst here we went on Sealife Surveys boat trip and saw a super pod of over 100 Dolphins which hadn’t been seen before. We have also seen Golden Eagles, White Tailed Sea Eagles, Otters and seals & loads of different sea birds. We went kayaking over at Lochdon which was brilliant, we had seals come near us and we saw the White Tailed Sea Eagle.  The guy there was so lovely and welcoming and told us all sorts of interesting things. The whole holiday has been an amazing experience and I would definitely come again. Thank you for an amazing stay at your beautiful cottage.

20th August 2016    Hull’s

What a truly relaxing and very comfortable holiday house in a stunning landscape. Hen harriers, greylag geese, hares, herons, deer and dragonflies, plus dolphins in the sound. We have thoroughly enjoyed exploring Iona and the Ross of Mull. We shall miss the peace and the single track roads!  Thank you so much for a memorable & wonderful stay.

13th August 2016    Prosser’s

We have had a lovely week here at the cottage despite the weather. We have had 2 sunny days and we made the most out of them by visiting Duart Castle which was worth the visit, and also going over to Iona and going in to see the nunnery which was very fascinating and stunning with lovely views all around. We have seen red deer from the windows.  Golden eagles, seals, otters, a white tailed eagle and a lovely hen harrier which seems to like one of the fences over in the field behind the house!  Lovely house and would recommend staying here! The fire has kept us nice and warm and have had lovely greetings from the two very cute dogs who are very friendly. Thank you so much

6th August 2016    Miller’s

Wonderful week – hen harriers, hedgehog & deer seen from the house, mink spotted in Kintra.  Lovely day on Iona too. Blissfully peaceful area of the country. Thanks

30th July 2016    Craig’s

So despite missing the ferry (my fault) I’ve had an amazing week. Gorgeous cottage, we kayaked and paddle boarded on fidden beach. Great walk to Tireragan. But at the last hurdle, couldn’t do the last bit, it was the day of the triffids.  Love it here & the kids loved Allison, Rachel & David. Awesome.  Staffa good too.

23rd July 2016    Michel

Fantastic cottage.  We had a lovely week in Mull

15th July 2016    Greenwood’s

Had a lovely stay here.  Highlights have been seeing the deer wander past the cottage in the evenings and visiting the beaches on Iona, particularly the ones to the north of the island.  The cottage is fantastic – warm, comfortable and in a really peaceful spot.  Thanks for a fantastic stay!  The Hen Harriers were spectacular!

9th July 2016    Vance’s

Lucky us.  Great cottage, everything to hand. Crofters kitchen & Ferry shop, plus Spar in Bunessan supplied food when needed. Weather changeable, but who cares with stunning scenery!! Fidden beach, Iona & beach in Fionnphort beautiful and kids enjoyed playing ourside with local dogs! Loved seeing cattle, herd of deer & enjoyed the peacefulness in the evening.  We plan to return.  Thanks

29th June 2016    Richardson’s

We found the house comfortable and well equipped with great wildlife around, red deer, hares, rabbits, hen harriers, buzzards and an assortment of small birds. Local highlights are of course Iona and a walk down to Kintra to see the sunset.

18th June 2016    Spink & Arbon’s

Wonderful holiday thank you. Saw hen harriers, deer, hares (sheep & midges!) from the house (also ticks from burg). Recommend walking to Traigh Ghael – fantastic beach, also Ulva on the Livingston trail. Golden Eagles and whitetail eagle from Burg.

Too much sunshine – too hot. Creich cottage has made us very welcome, perfectly equipped. Love it here and look forward to returning soon. Thank you

28th May 2016    Stroud’s

We arrived on Mull in the sunshine and enjoyed the sun almost every day we were here. Loved visiting Tobermory, Arlene’s Coffee shop in Craignure and especially Staffa island – seeing the puffins there was real highlight. We travelled all round the island (Mull) & there were lots of changes in scenery – all beautiful, We searched all week for eagles & otters & were fortunate to see Golden Eagles, White Tailed Eagles, mother and baby otter, plus deer & lots of birds. Would love to come back to Mull again to enjoy the peace & tranquillity. Creich cottage was a lovely place to base ourselves. Thank you

21st May 2016    Lorna & Ruth

Despite the weather a wonderful relaxing break in this delightful cottage. Everything you need to make you feel welcome & comfortable – the local shop is well stocked and the Keel Row is a lovely place to eat – highly recommend.
Wonderfully quiet and beautiful here.  Loved the cottage, the stove and the island. Thank you so much

17th October 2015    Tomcyzk’s

We have had a wonderful ½ term break here. House is very comfortable & well equipped. We had great weather which always helps but had great days out to Iona, boat trip to Staffa, Tobermory as well as visits to a number of beaches. We even donned wet suits twice & went snorkelling! Would definitely recommend Creich Cottage to anyone wanting to get away from it all for a week.

8th October 2015    McClung’s

A wonderful stay in a lovely cottage, thank you. A glimpse of the Northern lights a treat too, thanks for letting us know to look for them, it was on my bucket list to see them. Bunessan pub great for dinner & Iona an interesting day out with lovely scenery, walks, Abbey & history, Cheers.

22nd August 2015    Whybro’s

We’ve had a wonderful 2 weeks here and the cottage has been lovely to stay in. A very generous holiday let (I’ve always hated buying foil for 1 meal when I’ve loads at home) with everything at hand.  Lucky with the weather as we have always been on Mull.  Uisken beach was a favourite and lovely beach by golf course on Iona. We had to use doctors at Bunessan Medical Centre for child’s ear infection. They were very good there. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

18th July 2015    Ginny, Andrew & family

We have really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage! In particular the views of wildlife were amazing – it was incredible to see a herd of 18 deer grazing happily right outside the cottage. We also enjoyed seeing hen harriers and a hare which proudly ran through the field. Would definitely recommend a trip to Iona and a climb up Dun I. If you feel in the mood for a challenging but rewarding long, long trek to Carsaig Arches, but mind the midges! The views are definitely worth the effort, although we didn’t make it to the second arch, the first one was incredible. We also enjoyed the beautiful beaches not too far from the cottage, and we were lucky to have such lovely weather for most of our stay. All in all an amazing holiday so far. Thank you so much.
We loved Ardalanish Bay and the litter picked on it and Uisken Bay. Very quiet and peaceful at Kilvickeon Bay too. Loved the beaches of NW and N Iona. Heard a corncrake there. Amazed by finding tadpoles in the pools near the first Carsaig Arch and 5 handsome feral goats nearby.  The whole week was very much enjoyed by all.  Many thanks.

30th May 2015    McLauchlan’s

Wonderful house, really well equipped – even down to sharp knives and spotlessly clean –thank you.  A Fantastic week – Mull as beautiful as ever. We would recommend the walk to St Columba’s Bay on Iona and a visit to Lunga and Staff to see Puffins. Hen harriers flying outside living room window and hares from the kitchen window made wildlife watching very easy.

23rd May 2015    Baxendale’s

Nice wee place.  A bubble of peace and quiet away from the busy life at home. A wonderful week when I have seen things I never expected to see – puffins on Lunga, a corncrake on Iona and not forget the hares just outside the cottage. Over 20 years since I was last on Mull, well worth the wait.  Lovely well equipped house. Can recommend the Crofters Kitchen and Keel Row.

18th April 2015    Martin, Iris & family

We’ve had the most wonderful week in this cosy (and spotless) cottage. Mull and Iona have enchanted us and we’ve become very interested in geology. Nature and wildlife are so diverse and stunning. Our highlights were seeing sea eagles on a hike from Carsaig beach towards Lochbuie and to see a herd of up to 13 red deer in a field behind the cottage nearly every night, on Thursday night we could even see them from the kitchen window at a few meters distance when they were grazing just outside the cottage’s fence. We’re going home with beautiful memories. Thank you so much.

11th April 2015    Linda & John

We had fantastic weather this week, we really enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage.  It is so comfortable and well equipped.  We loved seeing the stags on the misty mountains, hares in the drive and an eagles on the way back from fish and chips at Bunessan Bakery on Friday Night.  We were so lucky to see Puffins at Staffa.  The hen harrier flew down outside the window the other day so we’ve had a wonderful week of wildlife.  The stars at night are to clear and bright, wonderful!
Thank you so much.

1st November 2014    Green’s

Our second week at Creich this year – we loved it so much at Easter, we thought we’d try autumn.  Weather has not been overly kind to us, but has not stopped us getting out & enjoying ourselves – even spent the afternoon alone on Fidden beach in the rain. Nearly stranded on Iona on Tuesday when ferry broke down – sailing boat rescued us all. All a great adventure. Thank you – we will be back.

12th September 2014    Mason’s

Wonderful setting and lovely cottage to return home to each day, especially with the log burner.  Crofters Kitchen was so handy for stocking up on veg. Favourite places to go – beach at Knockvologan, Iona, Ardalanish Bay, sunsets from Kintra. Will definitely be back.

30th August 2014    Hartley’s

What a fantastic week. We stayed here a couple of years a couple of years ago and loved it. If anything this trip has surpassed it. Our girls think the beach at Fidden is ‘the best beach in the world’ and it’s hard to argue although the beach at Calgary Bay gives it a run for its money. The scenery & wildlife in amazing. There are treats around every bend. We can highly recommend the ‘Ninth Wave’ – great food, great service and warm welcome. Wonderful.

16th August 2014   Bryce’s & Durhams

Thank you, we have had a really special holiday in an incredibly comfortable, welcoming and well equipped cottage – so lovely to be back on Mull.

This has been a most enjoyable holiday in which the cottage & its environment played a large part.  We found it practical, extremely clean and very well equipped. A great deal of thought has gone into making it comfortable and child friendly. A special thanks to our neighbours and their children who made our grandchildren so welcome. Thanks again.

26th July 2014    Pearce’s

Thank you so much. Gorgeous cottage with all we could ask for. Greeted on the first evening by 6 stags out in the field. Wildlife in abundance. Great trip to see the puffins on Lunga, then Staffa with the added bonus of dolphins off Iona. Lots of time spent swimming on the amazing beaches with glorious weather then home to your lovely cottage each evening. Magical memories to take home with us. Also saw white tailed eagles and sea otters at Pennyghael, what a treat. And a Golden Eagle near the cottage too.

Excellent concert at Creich Hall featuring local musicians & visitor King Creosote. Visited Iona twice – once in rain and other in sunshine. Thanks for a great week – sorry to leave.

This has been a brilliant week. Accommodation is warm, cosy and just right for 4 of us. Scenery wonderful and beaches stunning. Kintra a great place to watch the sun go down and plenty of other places too. Everyone has been really friendly and it has certainly made us chill out. We will be back, if only to talk about ‘Finnyfor’ rather than ‘Fionnphort’. Seen otters, sea eagles, etc. Hope you all enjoy your week as much as we have.

10th August 2013    Peacock’s

Our second visit to the cottage and we have all enjoyed lovely weather, scenery & wilderness of the area. The colours of the fields and sky have been a treat and all the meals at the table have been special due to the views and the birds. Next week we move onto to Croig (nr Dervaig) & then return to this area, here’s hoping more of the same. Regards to all.
