Beautiful location, stunning views. So peaceful. Cottage is well equipped, very clean. Eggs and shortbread on arrival were lovely. Cottage is very nice and would highly recommend. Not far to Fionnphort for the Iona ferry. Iona is a must see.

We loved the cottage. It was even better than the photos. It was cosy in the cool evenings. Very peaceful by the loch, many birds to see out of the kitchen window. Our dog loved exploring amongst the rocks. Beautiful and quiet part of the island.

The cottage is right next to the shore and the views of the islands in the Bunessan sound were fantastic. We enjoyed lots of gorgeous sunsets sitting outside on the grass. We also took our kayak and were able to access the sea at high tide only a few metres away. The cottage was lovely, clean and well equipped for our stay. The owner was very kind and friendly. The loft room is up a wooden ladder. The room is a good sized double and the head room up there was fine for me but I'm only 5ft 2"! Bunessan is a great location to go to Fionnphort for the ferry to Iona and to Erraid. Amazing beaches at Knockvologan, Uisken and Ardalanish. Calgary Bay and Tobermory were 2hrs and 1.5hrs drive away.

The location was ideal for easy access to Iona, stunning beaches, Staffa tours, amazing wildlife and beautiful sunsets. The cottage was spotless; had everything you needed; and was comfortable for a family of 4 + dog. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Rhumhor Bunessan
A cosy, bothy type cottage just a short walk from the village of Bunessan and minutes from the shore. Ideal situation for visiting the south of the Island with it's beautiful white sand beaches and for crossing to Iona. Upper bedroom is accessed by loft ladder.
